For the past several years I took on all kinds of challenging work across design, tech and culture. I handled design and art direction in areas new to me, including clothing, events, web, furniture, branding and rebranding. I also did writing, visual art, creative direction, project assessment, sourcing and hiring. I worked twice as a people manager in communications design. At one point I started identifying as a First-Time Problem Designer. It was exhausting. Now I just want to design and consult a little.
