Misha Gusev
/ˈmiːʃə ˈɡuːsɛv/
Designer, consultant. For cool cats only. The email is mishagusevmail@gmail.com. I don't read it much though. Just text me on Insta or on LinkedIn.
I'm into this:
Good time. I help nice people to do nice stuff. We get paid and have good time working. I like good. Good is g∞o∞o∞d. Good is intuitive. You know where you compromised on good. Enabling good is good. Rewarding it. Good should be shared and multiplied. People spend moneys on goodies. So good gets you paid and loved.
My field. Graphics and design are where I apply my thinking and skills. I love lines of text and rectangles. So much that I have favourite rectangles. This website is mostly rectangles and lines of text. A circle is just an odd square to me. A good-looking paragraph can make my day.
Passionate professionals. I recognise mastery and benevolence in people and develop that in myself. Having those two makes you succeed and contribute good inevitably. It doesn't matter where you get those features—by having a good upbringing and education or despite having neither.
Design consultancy. So far, it feels right. I’ve found myself helping designers and project leads with advice and guidance. Not only applying my knowledge to their projects, but also supporting them by examining their intuitive decisions, questioning d°o°u°b°t°s, and helping them empathise with their peers and clients.
People. Communication and comms strategy in businesses are significantly influenced, if not shaped entirely, by stakeholders—their intentions, visions, insecurities, and peculiarities. You can hide that behind a pre-designed™ T®O®V®. Or you can own it and let your weird crowd of founders shape your voice.
Serious things. Fun things. S–a–d  t–h–i–n–g–s. Real things. Casual things. Accurate things. Whatever things. Normcore things. Affordable things. Premium things. Industrial and post-industrial things. Progressive things. Chinese things. R&D things. WTF things.
For the past several years I took on all kinds of challenging work across design, tech and culture. I handled design and art direction in areas new to me, including clothing, events, web, furniture, branding and rebranding. I also did writing, visual art, creative direction, project assessment, sourcing and hiring. I worked twice as a people manager in comms design.

Now I just want to d÷e÷s÷i÷g÷n and consult a little, alright?
“Legend.”
“It was great to work with Misha as he is very skilled at understanding what his client wants to achieve and in turn apply that to the design that is required.  It was great to feel listened to and confident that the end product(s) were going to be what were needed from both, a Design as well as Marketing point of view.
I would definitely recommend Misha highly.”
“Misha is one of the best designers we've ever worked with. Due to his artistic background, his solutions are always authentic and memorable, which is very rare nowadays.”
“Misha, You are hollow inside and you have nothing to say to the world.”
Believe me, you didn't know what design was until you met this bastard; whether he’s truly an expert is anyone's guess, but at times it feels as though he’s the one who originally invented the words "beauty" and "meaning." Just be yourself around him and everything will fall into place, as he has a way of guiding you through design and self-honesty that makes your thoughts take shape and transform into a visible space.
“He’s a good cunt.”
